No no no no! BBC Five Live goes further down the bog.

The talent exodus from BBC Radio 5 Live continues apace. With Simon Mayo leaving the 1-4pm slot this week and being replaced with the ego-regious Richard Bacon, the listenersship of this station goes down by a further one.

Many like Bacon, but his shouty opinionated egocentric presenting is a complete turn off. Grex was a once Mancunian, is still a northerner and thinks economic development in the North is a good thing*. But moving 5 Live up there has just stripped it of talent as presenters whose lives and careers are in London opt to stay put.

*However, Grex worries that too much public sector investment has gone into the North, depriving people of the urge and opportunity to set up a business, make some cash and get our effing Labour Party paralysed private sector motoring again.
